New Patients
Welcome to Focus Orthodontics! You’ll feel right at home in our relaxed and friendly practice, which is located in a lovely, old house.
When you call to make your initial appointment, which is an hour long, we will ask you to get X-rays taken (bulk-billed) before you come in. The imaging centre will forward the X-rays to us via the web or CD. By having them completed beforehand, they will be ready on our charts when you come in.
The First Visit
Upon arrival, we ask that you complete your patient history form while the nurse prepares your room. You can relax in the massage chair while your kids play on one of the iPads that are connected to the internet. Rest assured, however, that you will never have to wait long.
One of the nurses will collect you after your paperwork is completed. You will be brought into a room where some intraoral and extraoral photos will be taken. These are needed for the comprehensive consultation appointment with Dr Mun. He will perform a thorough assessment and make recommendations regarding a treatment strategy and plan.
Your Treatment Plan
If you decide to proceed with your treatment plan, we can sign you up straightaway. You also are welcome to take your paperwork home to think it over and then can return the signed proposal the next day. We will ensure that you will leave your first appointment knowing the following:
- Exactly what’s involved in the treatment
- How much it will cost
- Potential risks involved
If, after you leave, you have additional questions, please contact us, and we’ll be happy to provide you with answers. We pride ourselves on always being transparent.
Making Care Affordable
Because we aim to make orthodontics as affordable as possible, we are happy to offer no-interest payment plans. Only a one-off set-up fee is involved. Our monthly payment plans are flexible and tailored to suit your financial needs. If you decide to pay upfront, a discount will be offered to you.
